Faith in the Fire: My Unscripted Journey as a Minister and Entrepreneur

Ten years ago, I said "yes" to a life I never imagined — not from a pulpit or a conference stage, but from a place of obedience, love, and partnership. I didn’t attend a school of theology or sit in lecture halls filled with doctrine. My classroom was the frontlines of ministry — beside my husband, Apostle John Enumah — building something from nothing, with faith as our foundation and purpose as our compass.
Back then, I didn’t know I was being prepared. I was simply helping, serving, carrying weight silently, believing in a vision bigger than me. But now, as I stand here — a woman who has loved, lost, cried, rebuilt, and still believes — I can see it clearly: God was shaping a minister and an entrepreneur in the fire.

A Journey Born in Service
My journey into ministry wasn’t marked by a dramatic calling moment — it was gradual, raw, and deeply personal. It came through years of standing with my husband, building a ministry from the ground up. It came from interceding when others didn’t see the tears. It came from pressing through seasons of lack, loss, and labour.

Ministry for me wasn't a platform — it was life. It was showing up when it was just two of us and still showing up when the room grew full. It was feeding people spiritually while trusting God to feed us physically. It was mothering our children while mothering spiritual children. It was never a title; it was a burden I carried with grace.
And now, without the man I built it with, I continue — not because I have all the answers, but because I’ve come too far to quit.
Discovering the Entrepreneur Within
Somewhere along the way, something else began to stir in me. Not apart from ministry — but connected to it. I started sensing ideas, strategies, solutions — ways to create, build, and sustain impact beyond the altar. At first, I wrestled with it. “Can a woman of the Word also be a woman of business?” But as I leaned in, I realised they weren’t enemies — they were allies.
Entrepreneurship, to me, isn’t just about making money. It’s about creating systems that solve problems. It’s about bringing kingdom principles into everyday life — whether through coaching, content, community, or creativity. It’s about stewarding what’s in my hand — and turning pain into purpose, and ideas into impact.
I don’t separate faith and business. I live at the intersection of both.

Ministry Beyond the Pulpit
As a minister/ entrepreneur, I’ve learned to extend ministry beyond Sunday. I’ve hosted workshops, spoken on platforms, launched projects, and birthed businesses — all with one goal: to empower, uplift, and restore.
When we had little, we still gave. When my heart broke, I still showed up. And through the tears, testimonies came. Women found their voice. Families found food. Communities found hope. That, to me, is ministry. That, to me, is entrepreneurship.
It’s not polished. It’s not perfect. But it’s powerful.

Grace in the Grit
Let’s be honest — this journey is not easy. There have been days I felt like giving up. Days where ministry didn’t look like ministry. Days where business felt like a burden. Days where grief tried to silence my gift.
But I’ve learned to keep going. I’ve learned that rest isn’t weakness, and that asking for help is wisdom. I’ve built community — not just as a leader, but as a woman who also needs prayer, counsel, laughter, and love.
I’ve learned to be kind to myself, even when the world expects me to be strong. I’ve learned that healing isn’t linear, and progress sometimes looks like showing up with tears in your eyes and purpose in your heart.

Inspiring from a Real Place
If you’ve ever felt like your story disqualifies you — let mine remind you that God uses the unlikely. You don’t need to have it all together to be effective. You don’t need to follow the crowd to create impact. You don’t need credentials to carry oil.
Whether you’re a grieving widow, a hidden visionary, or a mama trying to hold it all together — know this: you matter. Your voice matters. Your ideas matter. Your story matters.

I’m Still Becoming

This isn’t a success story tied in a bow. This is a faith story still unfolding. I’m still building, still discovering, still trusting. I don’t have all the answers, but I’ve got a deep-rooted "yes" that won’t let me quit.
So if you see me running a business, preaching the Word, or wiping my son’s tears while building legacy — know that every bit of it is ministry. Every bit of it is purpose.
And if you’re standing at a crossroad wondering how faith fits with your fire for business — let me say this plainly:
It fits. You fit. There’s room for both. And the world needs what only you can bring.
